I started going to Tate's for lunch back in 2016 when I was an Admin at Fegely MS. Our whole office would order from them. We moved to Portage during the Pandemic, which meant that I was closer to Tate's Place! They have always had great food and great service! I recommend the Portage Cheese Steak, The Portage Cheese Steak (substitute chicken), or the Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap! They are always good!

I love that down home feeling you get eating at Tate's. The food is great! It's definitely my favorite for breakfast. I'd highly recommend them of you need a place for breakfast for out of town company or a good place to meet up at. Great food always.
Great local spot with a huge menu. Service was great, and food was brought out fast. Some very good omelette, scramble and pancake selections. Large parking lot and plenty of inside seating + a counter area. Definitely a Go To.
Twissacado anytime of day, yes please, also their biscuits and Gravy are delicious and home style! Can't go wrong with any of their skillets either. Great coffee too, service is always warm and friendly and food is always prepared fast! Great little place to support in the community.
Service and food were good. This place has a very "vacation" feel, when you sit down and enjoy, but also a "throw on a hat and go" vibe. Will be back and this may turn into our local joint.
It doesn't look like much when you see it from the outside, (we actually passed it first lol) but whoa! The staff is amazing, food was very delicious! Atmosphere was nice, not too loud & our drinks never went empty. When we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!
Ok so it's been 5 years since the last time I was there and this place has grown in quality and the prep of food is great. I ordered breakfast to go. Denver omelet which comes with toast and hash browns. I have had my fair share of to-go orders since covid and their togo was simple and perfect. But by the time I got home, it tasted amazing! Most companies haven't adopted new togo procedures the place travels well. Highly recommended for everything, especially Togo orders!
